Steve is looking for a few paddlers (either over-18s, or under-18s accompanied by a parent) to act as ‘guinea-pigs’ for coach training and assessment courses:
- Sun 16 Oct (morning) – a couple of hours of tuition by trainee coaches on sheltered water in both kayak and canoe, this would suit intermediate paddlers wishing to develop skills in either craft
- Wed 2-Fri 4 Nov (3-4 hours daytime on one of these days) – 90 minutes of open canoe tuition from an assessment candidate who’ll be keen to show off their coaching skills, this would suit anyone who’s got a little experience in open canoes and would like to improve their skills – or kayakers who’d like to have a go at canoeing [Susie already pencilled-in for this]
