Update 15 Jan

Thanks to everyone who made it to last Monday’s training session in the pool: we missed those of you who couldn’t make it through sickness etc. and look forward to seeing you on the 27th.

We’d also love to see as many of you as possible at our Annual General Meeting before the pool session on the 27th, which will be an chance for members new and old to hear more from Steve about the many and varied opportunities that paddlesport has to offer for paddlers of all ages and abilities (and how the Club can help with many of these). We will also be asking for one or two more paddlers or parents to join the committee that runs the club, so please do give this some thought and let Steve know if you think you might be able to help us in this way.

Next Monday (20th) is Polo Training, when our usual squad will be ‘back in action’. We still have vacancies on the squad, so if any of you who’ve been paddling with us for a while would like to come along and try this exciting sport (think ‘5-a-side rugby in boats’!) please let Steve know.

There are quite a few of you who are ready to make the transition to white water, so why not make it your New Year’s Resolution to give this a go in 2020?! We’ve had to cancel the last couple of trips due to too few paddlers or too much water, but we’re on schedule for the next one on Sun 26th – so if any of you feel ready to give this a go, just click on the event link to RSVP (or contact Steve).
