So far only Sam C has responded to this call – and sadly Sam and Steve alone don’t make a team!
When no-one responds to calls like this, it makes Steve’s job very difficulty and frustrating – so please let Steve know now whether you’re interested – or even if you’re not (this includes our ‘new’ players, who’d be welcome in these particular tournaments). NB if we don’t have a squad willing and available to play in tournaments, we’ll need to review whether we should continue with polo training and certainly won’t go to the trouble of applying for a grant for new boats…
Wales Canoe Polo is looking at the following Sundays for possible 4-a-side tournaments, at Rhondda Leisure Centre, between 9am and 2pm (not necessarily the whole time each day). Some dates may be a Division 2 League (that’s us!), some may be a Women’s league. We can enter one or more teams, also individuals if we don’t have enough players for a team.
- 28 January, 25 February, 10 March, 24 March
Please let Steve know now if you’re interested and available to play on any or all of these dates.
NB they are all dates when we currently have club paddles schedules, so we’d need to re-arrange those…
PS the tournament previously proposed for 26 November will not now include us.
