Sorry - missed the automatic weekly e-mail so sending this as an additional one... We still have a few spaces left on next Sunday's river trip, specifically aimed at our newest paddlers, including those who will have just completed our 3-week 'learn to kayak' course in the pool. The venue will be chosen to suit those who sign-up (and the water levels - looking like being suitably low!) but is likely to be a section of 'easy' grade 1 river (most likely Usk or Wye), with maybe an occasional rapid (which could be walked around).... ... We're in the process of putting together our claim to HMRC for Gift Aid, which means we can claim an 'extra' 25% on all Membership Fees and Optional Donations - we'd therefore be very grateful if all our members could check ASAP that they've ticked the correct box relating at the bottom of your membership profile form (Edit Profile – Brecon Canoe Club) - NB for u18s it's the status of the adult making the payments that counts!
