Steve is looking for at least two paddlers (either over-18s, or under-18s accompanied by a parent) to act as ‘guinea-pigs’ for a one-day canoe coaching assessment. This would ideally suit anyone who’s got a little experience in open canoes and would like to improve their skills – or kayakers who’d like to have a go at canoeing. You’d get 90 minutes of free tuition from an assessment candidate who’ll be keen to show off their coaching skills! The date is still to be confirmed (it depends on the availability of ‘guinea-pigs’ as well as on weather conditions) but could be either:
- Fri 14 Oct;
- Mon 31 Oct; or
- Wed 2-Fri 4 Nov
