A small group of club members spent a few hours on Easter Sunday paddling down a swollen river Wye from Lydbrook to Monomuth – with brief interludes to play on the infamous Symonds Yat ‘seal launch rock’ and rapids, followed by lunch on the beach. No incidents other than lots of splashing to entertain ourselves on this gentle but enjoyable trip!
