After our weekend trip north to the Afon Tryweryn was cancelled at short notice (due to a cancelled water release), a few of our ‘harder’ paddlers hastily re-arranged a day trip to Cardiff International White Water centre instead; joined by Nat for some development paddling (her second time there this week!). We warmed-up gently on the ‘easy’ morning flows of 4 and 6 cumecs, then most of us braved the more hectic conditions in the afternoon for a few runs at 8 cumecs. A great time was had by all, with lots of play; and we at least now feel a bit more ready for our forthcoming trip to the French Alps!
