Our first ever Club Open Day at Brecon Promenade on Wed 24 August, sponsored by The Outdoor Partnership’s “Summer of Fun” programme, attracted almost 40 participants aged 9 to 17 (and a couple of parents) during three sessions. They all had the opportunity to try kayaking, canoeing and paddle-boarding. The forecast heavy rain didn’t materialise; lots of fun was had, there were smiling faces all round; and hopefully a few new members will swell our numbers in September!
