A small-but-perfectly-formed group took on the challenge today of a clockwise circuit of Pontsticill and Pentwyn Reservoirs (near Merthyr Tydfil) in a gusting Force 3+ wind. Hard work on the way, but much easier on the way back! Well done Pete M in his first proper outing in an open canoe; Kevin in his first club kayaking trip; and Fleur for keeping dad Dave going in the right direction all day! No swims and a great time had by all, accompanied by stunning mountain views, steam engines and sailing boats – just a shame Steve didn’t take more photos!!!
