Chris, Dave, Pete, Sam C and Tanya joined Steve for a day of white water rescue training and practise at Builth Rocks rapids on Sat 28 Jan. Thankfully the weather wasn’t quite as cold as expected – although the water was! We all ended the day tired but more confident that we can deal effectively and efficiently with the types of incidents that we may encounter on club trips (hopefully not too often – or ever – for the more serious ones!). This was the last of several coach development days funded for the club in 2022 by Canoe Wales.
