A quick update this week:
- Sunday’s (25th) planned trip to Symonds Yat is CANCELLED due to lack of interest (we may reschedule this one away from the Bank Holiday!)
- Pool sessions are under threat for the next half-term (may not be enough participants to cover costs) but we’ll confirm this by next week at the latest – in the meantime please let Steve know ASAP if you know anyone who might like to learn to kayak in the pool (info in file attachment below) – and let him know if you want to come along (if you haven’t already…)
- It also looks unlikely that we’ll have enough players to make up a Polo Team for any tournaments this season, unless any of you who’ve played a little bit before (e.g. Griff, Josh x 2) would like to join in – please let me know ASAP if you’re keen!
- Any individuals interested in Bridgend’s polo day on 7 Sep (details in the events list), please book with them direct, since we don’t appear to have a whole team to put in – sorry!)
- Watch this space for weekend trips over the autumn (Steve needs to do quite a bit of life-laundry at the moment and organising the Club is sadly low on the list of priorities!)
- Annual membership fees are due in September, renewals will come automatically from our online membership system in due course (NB the Trustees have agreed a small increase in fees, these will be apparent when the renewal notices come out). We’ll also have an AGM coming up soon…
