Apologies for missing the ‘routine’ Sunday newsletter e-mail, but here’s another one with outline plans for our summer trips over the next few months – NB we’ve re-arranged the ‘easier’ (usually 4th Sunday) and ‘harder’ (usually 2nd Sunday) trips in some cases to better fit availability:
- Sun 14 Jul 2024 ‘Harder’ trip – Sea Kayaking, most likely to Pembrokeshire or Cardigan Bay; those who’ve expressed interest have been contacted separately by e-mail
- Sun 28 Jul 2024 – ‘Easier’ trip, aimed at all our paddlers including those who’ve attended our ‘Learn to Paddle’ sessions, most likely somewhere on the Wye
- Sun 11 Aug ‘Easier’ White Water Skills & Safety at Symonds Yat (Part 1)
- Sun 25 Aug – NO Bank Holiday trip this year, as Steve is paddling in Scotland with Scouts
- Sun 8 Sep ‘Easier’ White Water Skills & Safety at Symonds Yat (Part 2)
- Sun 22 Sep ‘Harder’ Sea Kayaking trip – numbers strictly limited by boat availability
- Sun 13 Oct ‘White Water Warm-Up’ at Cardiff International White Water Centre, morning session may be suitable for white water ‘novices’ who’ve been to our Yat sessions; afternoon for experienced white water paddlers only
- Sun 27 Oct the first of the winter’s ‘Easier’ White Water trips, on a local river
