“My name is Steve Burrows and I’m a member of Poole Harbour Canoe Club. I’ll be in Brecon on Wednesday evening 17th January and considering a paddle on the Usk from Brecon to Talybont on Thursday 18th. Would you know of anyone in your club that would be interested in joining me for the paddle and would you be able to advise me on suitable water levels for this trip? I’m a Level 3 Coach with 40yrs of experience. I’ll have an Open Canoe and a Closed Cockpit Touring Kayak with me. I’m making my way to Bala, to meet up with fellow members of the Open Canoe Association on 19th for there Wales weekend.”
