Sun 13 Sep 2026 ‘Easier’ White Water Skills & Safety at Symonds Yat

This is an opportunity (as long as it rains between now and then!) for some of our ‘newer’ paddlers to learn some of the fundamental skills needed to paddle safely and in-control on white water, using the ‘easy’ grade 2 rapids at Symonds Yat – and for our more experienced paddlers who’d like to join in the fun (maybe try a canoe for a change – although places are limited and priority will be given to ‘newer’ paddlers). Full details will be e-mailed to participants a few days beforehand.

Participants will need to pay for parking and boat launch; bring packed lunch and appropriate clothing (expect to get wet!).
