Mon 9 Sep 2024 Pool Session (Polo Training)

September 9 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Our next block of Canoe Polo training sessions will start on Mon 9 Sep and will run on alternate weeks: 9, 23 Sep, 7, 21 Oct.

NB the first session on 9 Sep will be for our existing paddlers only; subsequent sessions will also be open to new paddlers from our ‘learn to kayak’ course.

Sessions will run from 7.15 to 9pm, including a 15min ‘buffer’ at the start and finish to get equipment in and out of the pool (i.e. an hour-and-a-quarter actually in the pool).

We’re currently expecting the following players but may still have space for more, so please let us know ASAP if you’re interested (i.e. if you’re not on the list below, please don’t ‘get tickets’ without checking with us first) – NB those in bold have already paid:

  • Chris, Fleur, Gethin P, Huw, Mel, Natalie, Sam C, Steve R

The cost of each session will be £15 but we are able to offer a discounted rate of £50 if you ‘block-book’ all 4 sessions in advance (no refunds for missed sessions) – and all existing paddlers will need to be paid-up members of the Club and of Canoe Wales (and signed-up to our Club Code of Conduct). Priority spaces will be given to block-bookings. NB this discounted rate will make it difficult for us to cover our costs, so we will also continue to invite optional donations, for those that feel able to contribute a little extra…
