Mon 4 May 2026 Summer Training – Social Paddle on the Canal

As it’s Bank Holiday, we’ll be doing something slightly different this Monday: going for a gentle paddle along the canal – for any and all of our ‘current paddlers’. Booking essential, by midday Monday (in the usual way via the online event tickets), so we can make sure we have all the right kit in the right place at the right time!

Meet 6.30pm ‘ready-to-paddle’ at Brecon Canal Basin, in front of Theatr Brycheiniog (pay-and-display parking nearby). Wear usual paddling kit and bring drink/snack for the ‘halfway stop’. Unaccompanied children welcome, parents need not stick around between drop-off and pick-up (or are welcome to accompany us on foot along the towpath).

Craft hire available as usual (kayaks, canoes or paddleboards), Steve will collect kit from the Prom store and bring it along – as long as he knows who’s coming!
