A few intrepid members made the trip to Cardiff International White Water Centre on Sun 24th July – the Club’s first trip there for several years! Congratulations to our white water ‘beginners’ and ‘developers’ Jim, Kevin, Nairi & Rhys – who coped admirably and visibly improved in skill and confidence from the start to the end of the morning – and to Steve, Dave and Pete for lots of boat-emptying and rescues (which increased in frequency once the water speed was turned up halfway through!!!). We’re looking forward to our next session there on 7th August 😉
