Ten intrepid paddlers enjoyed another great day on the river today – this time the Wye from Bachawy (near Erwood) to Boughrood, braving the infamous Grade 3 Hell Hole and Devil’s Elbow rapids. Somewhat colder than our last trip, but everyone was well wrapped-up and Sam survived the only swim of the day (and went back for more)! Great paddling from Caitlin, Chris, Jim, Olly, Peter, Phil C, Phil H and Sam led and assisted by Steve and Dave. Roll on December!!
Apologies for the photo quality – and for anyone who’s missing 😉
