Elin has been let down by a couple of her ‘guinea-pig’ paddlers for the second part of her Paddlesport Leader assessment next Sunday. We’re looking for someone willing to join us on a paddleboard and someone in either canoe or kayak. The venue will be one of our local reservoirs in ‘sheltered water’ wind conditions (up to 12mph, which could mean waves up to a foot high in places). Paddlers need to be comfortable in those conditions – but not confident enough to go by themselves! And they will need to be prepared for some rescues (i.e. being in the water some of the time) – so equipped with decent clothing for this time of year. Timing expected to be something like 10am to 2pm. Please let Steve know ASAP if you can help – thanks!
