Sun 8 Feb 2026 2025 ‘Easier’ White Water Trip

Apologies for late advertising (although hopefully you’ll all have 2nd Sundays in your diaries for these anyway!!). This trip is again aimed at anyone new to white water – as well as more experienced paddlers. You need at least to be capable of paddling in a straight line for 5 miles and have the stamina and clothing for cold weather paddling (unaccompanied under 18s welcome). Numbers will be strictly limited and priority given to our developing (rather than expert) paddlers; otherwise first come, first served! The trip will most likely be on the Tywi north of Llandovery or a stretch of the Usk, depending on conditions and participants. Timing will be c.9am to 3pm, with a packed lunch. Club equipment will be available to hire as usual. Get tickets in the usual way (or e-mail Steve to enquire, even if tickets are sold out…).
