Sun 14 Dec 2025 ‘Easier’ White Water Trip

This trip is again aimed at anyone new to white water – as well as more experienced paddlers; and will include some skills coaching. You need at least to be capable of paddling in a straight line for 5 miles and have the stamina and clothing for cold weather paddling (unaccompanied under 18s welcome). Numbers will be strictly limited and priority given to our developing (rather than expert) paddlers; otherwise first come, first served! The trip will most likely be on the Usk from Sennybridge to Aberbran; or another stretch of the Usk or Wye depending on conditions and participants. Timing will be 9am to 3pm, with a packed lunch. Club equipment will be available to hire as usual. Get tickets in the usual way (or e-mail Steve to enquire, even if tickets are sold out…).
