Decision to be made once we know who wants to come (we’re aware that some of us will have had a late night in Cheltenham the day before!); hence only ‘expressions of interest’ (no payments) at this stage… \n\n\n\nNumbers are limited and priority will be given to ‘new’ paddlers\, so ‘get tickets’ quickly; participants and details will be confirmed a few days before. The venue will be chosen to suit those who sign-up (so please book early to help us decide) but is likely to be a section of ‘easy’ grade 1 river (most likely Usk or Wye)\, with maybe an occasional rapid (which could be walked around). Participants will need to be prepared to paddle up to 5 miles in what could be chilly conditions! Deposit them by the external doors in the car park before the start of the session.\n\n\n\n\nOn Poolside\n\n\n\n\nParents are welcome on poolside to help children carry boats and get kitted-up\, also to help them empty boats if required during the session (we’ll show you how!). You might even be able to help in the water\, if this is something you’d be willing to do – in which case\, come prepared with swimwear!\n\n\n\nNo outdoor shoes on poolside please.
