SUMMARY:Mon 1 Jul 2024 Summer Training - including 'Paddle Safer' course
DESCRIPTION:Alongside social paddling for existing members\, this week offers an opportunity to complete the Paddle Safer course\, which is designed for anyone relatively inexperienced to paddling\, wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of paddling safely in a sheltered water environment – and an opportunity for our more experienced paddlers to practise and update their sheltered-water rescues under the watchful eye of coaches. It looks like being a mild (rather than hot!) evening\, so come dressed appropriately for getting wet!! As usual\, please book website ‘tickets’ and / or RSVP by 9pm Sun 30th. \n\n\n\nPS as we’re trying hard to raise funds to purchase new equipment – and are only just covering our annual running costs as things stand – we’d welcome your ‘optional donations’ at each event: you can ‘buy’ one or more £5 donations! \n\n\n\nLogistical details as Mon 10 Jun 2024 Summer Training – including ‘Learn to Paddle’ course.
