Here’s hoping you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to lots of opportunities to get paddling in the New Year!
2019 has been quite a fairly quiet year for Brecon Canoe. We started well with lots of beginners and a strong polo team, but several of our long-term paddlers have since moved on and numbers have dwindled to the point where we are only just making ends meet on pool sessions and numbers are very low on most club trips – so we will definitely be looking for injections of enthusiasm in 2020!
We have plenty of space for beginners in our pool sessions (starting 13 Jan), so we hope that several of you who have enquired recently about joining will now choose to do so. And it would be great to see a few more of our longer-term paddlers putting to use the skills you’ve all learned over the years and joining us in some of our introductory white water river trips.
