Sat 28 Nov 2020 White Water Trip

The final plan for this trip will depend on weather, river conditions and participants:

Plan A: River Usk Aberbran to Brecon 5km of (fairly easy) Grade 2 white water.

Participants should all have good flat-water skills and some moving water experience (e.g. have at least paddled the likes of Glasbury-Hay or Symonds Yat).

Timing is most likely 9.30am-2.30pm.

Paddlers will need their own transport to and from the start and finish points (to avoid the need for a car-sharing shuttle) – and clothing suitable for the conditions as well as packed lunch / snacks / drinks and hand sanitiser! Club boats and equipment will be available to hire (£8 per person) but must be booked in advance – if you have your own, please bring them!

Numbers are limited, so RSVP as soon as possible and no later than Sun 22 Nov (using the button at the bottom of the website event listing or by e-mail reply)  if you’d like to come along (even if you’re not absolutely certain at this stage). We’ll then be in contact about detailed arrangements.
